Are the buildings extracted by BrightEarth aligned to rooftops or building footprints?

Great question! This one comes up a lot when discussing building footprints. The answer depends on how the extraction was performed. For all extractions based on a single image (such as from the Global Basemap or Image Search in mono mode), buildings are aligned to the rooftops visible in the image. However, for extractions using stereo processing (i.e., with the Accurate option), buildings are initially extracted from rooftops but are then repositioned to the base of the structure.
